Hi all just picked up a very rough FZR 250 3ln and it’s missing a few bits,
First the ignition switch is damaged the plug is a 4 pin ,if I bridge the red and brown it runs but what do the blue/ red dot & blue/red tracer go to? Running lights? The look to be connected when the ignition switch is on but are connected anyway when I check with meter.
2 the rear brake calliper is missing, brackets still there,is it the same as a tzr250 FZR 400 as they have repo ones one eBay and look the same?I can’t look at the files yet as I’m not premium or whatever it is.

Congrats on the purchase and :welcome: to the Fizzer carb club (You'll get the joke soon enough)

That type plug shouldn't be difficult to locate, I think Jaycar, if there's one local to you have then fortunately.
    This may be it

Not sure about alternative rear calipers and fitment, see if anyone on the forum has an FZR250 rear caliper, you my be lucky.
Some (possibly all) FZR400 calipers are underslung so won't have the bleed and banjo connection points in the correct orientation.

A quick peek on google: looks to be that a TZR250 2MA rear caliper may work, TZR250 3VX looks to be underslung

I think I have a rear caliper bracket, will look tomorrow. If I do you're welcome to it.

FYI,just fitted this rear Caliper to my 3LN 1 ,happy as I had to follow a paper trail of part numbers to confirm, and it’s always a guess with eBay.
