Saw the funniest thing yesterday when on a ride around Mt Nebo and Glorious. 2 heroes wearing racing leathers, one on a duc 796, the other a repsol cbr1000RR. Both had the full lean going, knees dragging, overtaking on solid white lines etc. Tossers right! They just beat us to the cafe. While sitting on his bike, the the hero on the cbr, pulls off his helmet, shakes out his long hair and promptly falls off the back of his parked bike lol I think they pissed off quite a few riders, as he got quite a reception. Karma is a bitch
It's bad to do that kind of stuff on the road as it puts others at risk. But, can't really fault them for wearing protective gear.
Mt Glorious is a magnet for those type of riders. Just puts other at risk and gives us all a bad name.
Its so cute how the leathers are all Suzuki hehehe. I feel sorry for him though, he did sound very happy and exited and that would have ruined his day something hard.
You know... I bet he just got a new rear tyre. Some bike shops don't scrub them back and despite how "careful" you intend to be, you can lay down the bike really easily. Judging by what happened to the guy on the GSXR I'd bet that's what happened. Kinda feel bad for him...
That was my first thought, it also looks quite cold weather also. The power to weight and the excitement wouldn't have helped either.
When I worked at bike shop saw many guys do this doesn't matter how much u tell them it still make me gasp and chuckle at same time
I forgot mine was still being broken in on the 7r and it sat and I test rode it after some fiddling and gave it the beans a little too early..... Pretty sideways and brown underpants were the result
Brand new bike means brand tires which means take it easy for 400 to 500k's until the tires scrub in.....OOPS
