Anyhow I brought a parts bike and the guy said the engine just stopped on him at a service station. I poppd off the right hand cover and while not totally seized would not turn over smoothly anyhow its been sitting in the shed and today I pulled it out and stripped the starter and magneto offof it. When I pulled the magneto off the magnets had cracked and com addrift, the engine now seems nice and smooth. I'm thinking the engine is actually fine and might be good for someone who has one died. it was 38000 km's when II pulled it out. If anyone is in Perth and can use it drop me a line.
