Picked up this non-running but excellent condition very original MC19 today, minor scrapes on original fairings it came with a set of aftermarket also but not a perfect colour match so the guy never put them on. Cranks over but I cant hear the fuel pump bike has been sitting in a garage for the last 4 years prior to that it was serviced and had the carbies done. Hopefully start work on it next week. Bike still has manual and tool kit under the seat. I'm not selling this one. I will get the paint fixed up on the scraped fairing as there are no cracks. I will want to get the seats re-covered does anyone know someone who does them in Melbourne? IMG_0255.JPG IMG_0258.JPG IMG_0256.JPG IMG_0257.JPG IMG_0254.JPG

Found it on Market place last night (only got back in Aus yesterday) called the guy spoke about the bike and said I'll take it do you want a deposit? He replied no I trust you, so paid the cash this arvo and picked it up. It was registered but he is cancelling it which was how it was described in the listing so all good. Needs minor scrapes on the fairing paint made good and a good once over the brakes and electrical, new seat covers. Will come up very nice. Bike was in Western suburbs of Melbourne.

Real nice, hard to find an unmolested MC19 with original faring manuals and such.

Had a big win today, one connection sorted and everything on the bike is working. Bled brakes, ordered new tyres (they were 10 years old but like new) and some pre cut vinyl seat covers. Should be registered in my name by next week then I'll start on the scratches.

Will give it a run tonight.

Can't wipe the smile off my face.

Yes I should have been working.

Well took her for a run "legally" as it turns out the rego had not been cancelled yet and I'm going to give the guy what the cancellation payment for the left over rego would be. Rides fine. Everything is as it should be but I will still put new rubber on it as it is 11 years old.

    What a bargain.
