Well I was riding home last night. Stopped at red lights (as you do) on a 2 lane road and beside me pulls up a newish p-plater Commodore - you must forgive me as I don't know the models exactly but it was one of the sportier looking ones.

Anyways, I take off on the green and I hear tires beside me and off goes the commodore trying to out accelerate me. Well, I stopped accelerating at 60 and only then did the car pass me. Next set of lights same thing. Before we took off I looked in and there was a young innocent guy behind the wheel (clean cut, etc.) and just having a bit of fun with me. Same thing this time - kept even until 60 when he continued to accelerate.

And then third set of lights (I had a terrible time at lights last night). Pulled up next to him, raised my visor and simply said (he had his windows open) - "not too bad when you consider that a 15 year old $2500 bike can keep up to your new $40000 car". He just sort-of smiled.

I then turned, so never saw him again, but it felt good saying that. In all fairness I am sure he could have outgunned me once the speeds got up a bit.

That's why I looked at him first - he seemed clean cut, young, etc. The sort of person a daughter could bring home to mom and make mom happy. (or a son bring home to mom if so inclined)

3 weeks ago I was in brisbane for a conference. Then 2 weeks ago I was in Sydney doing some consulting for a company there. Last week I was busy with job interviews. This week I get to relax, and try to decide on a job. I didn't have regular net access until last week so I was a bit sparse showing up.

For me they load really quickly actually, both in my office and at home. Let me know if there is anything I can do though to help out. I have a small amount of free time.

I was working my fingertips to the bone! 12 hour days for 6 days straight. I sort of got tired and would not have had much time. But I am a richer man for it...

    What a *****

    Yoooooo BOzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Dont ya just love racing cars and then beating them. <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_roll.gif" alt="" title="Rolling LoL" /><!-- s:roll: --> I once raced a Toyota Curren they have the 3SGE engine which is not to slow and I was racing them man could I smoke them never laughtd so hard in my life. Then there was that Turbo skyline man that guy prob sold that after a tinny 250 bet it ahahah LOSER. The funny thing is when u beat a guy in a fully hotted up Jap Import say a civic or a skyline they seem to make up resons why they lost. My boost was to low or im only running on 3 cylinders what aload of crap they cant handle a old as 250 beating there very expensive tin top.
