    Hey Len
I have been asking Chris how your bike was going after stopping on the freeway.
Reading your post, thought I would chat to my mechanic about your dilemma, but alas he is doing a course this week and hence not available, bugger.
Congratulation on taking the moderator role on board, we feel very pleased with our choice. Mate, if I get any info re. power valve I will let you know.
You are not the only one having problems with your bike, just ask Chris.
                                                      Cheers  Phil

thats really sucks chris at least mine definately isnt engine. it runs like (no swearing ) till about 10000rpm when the valve fully opens and the runs sweet. Weird. Hopefully ill get it sorted soon. I have a feeling its something to do with the cables.

If anyones thinks of anything let me know

    Cheers guys

    Len

after 6 hrs of pulling my bike apart today i found that all that was wrong was a tiny circlip had come loose from one of the needles in the carbies.....Really, a peice smaller than your pinky nail totally ruined my bike. Now, i fixed the clip however in the process ive messed with the mixture screws and it still run like (no swearing on the forum). At least it wasnt as bad as i originally thought. Still not happy with Mr Yamaha. He should take a leaf out of Mr Hondas book.

Well thats my rant for the night...Moral of the story, if you're thinking about buying an FZR250, stop, Have a smoke, the proceed to buy cbr250.
