After the accident I got a new engine cover since the old one was pretty worn out. I got some paint stipper and got ride of the enamel covering hoping for a similar result to what I had. But now I just have a brushed metal looking engine cover. I've tried using metal polish but that doesn't do anything. It doesn't look like the original engine cover was chromed though. So i'm wondering how that was achieved?

If you look at the engine cover, exhaust, or footpegs thats the look i'm trying to achieve, shiny metal look. Any tips? <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
