Electrical Problem Finding Flow Chart

    The link above is to a flow chart (well, to the page describing the chart, then the flow chart is linked) that guides you through how to check all the electrics on a motorcycle. It has colour specific coding by manufacturer, and barring 'strange electrics' it can guide you to the source of the problem.

    Came in handy last night when we (housemate and I) could not figure out why his battery keeps on dying. Turns out it was the 'rectifier regulator' which turns dc current (from alternator) into ac in order to charge the battery.

    I have saved the flow chart (pdf form) for future reference, but thought others may find it some use too.

    Cheers Boz, these things are great when it comes to problems. I just re-wired my bike the other night with out any help and got it right the first time <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> Shocked me lol well i have done heaps of work with eletrics but still. I even made my lights work like Ducatis with the one light on till u high hi beam and the other 3 then turn on. Looks real cool.
