    Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and its good to see so many people on fzr250s in one place!

Just wondering if anyones had their bikes run on a dyno? or professionally tuned and the sort of costs involved with these as my bike is definately not running as efficiently as it should (im having to fill up about 10 litres after about 125kms)

    cheers, dannyf

    Yeah thats a good question,

I would like to know more about this aswell. I think my bike is also running rich and bogs down sometime, but I get a lot more k's than you!!

I got my car dyno'd a couple years ago and from memory it cost me about AUD$80

    dyno

If your bikes running rich then tune the carbs. The main mix screw should be three turns out. And then balance th carbs and that should sort the fuel problems. As with Dyno runs, it is possible to dyno a bike but what would you be looking for as our bikes are carburetors and not fuel injection so you dont have any sensors to tell you whats happning. But it would be good to see what power the beasts are pumping out after 12+ years of thrashing.
