Deep spark plug removal and installation

    Spark plugs on bikes like the CBR250RR and ZXR250 are very deep inside the head, making them a PITA get out or put in.

    After loosening the plugs with a socket, get a piece of garden hose or air hose about 10 cm long, slide it into the hole and over the top of the plug then finish unscrewing and pull it out.

    Same applies when putting the plug back in.  This is really useful as you can feel if the plug is screwing in, rather than risk cross threading when using a socket set.

    Nice one, I have a long spark plug lead, the last time I cut 10cm's off my garden hose......  :)

    always wondered why the young guys round here kept cutting the hose, they must all be backyard mechanics:D
