love the project. coming along amazing. did you use heat proof paint for the casing?
and for a good looking swingarm have a look into the rgv bananananana ones. theyre about 6mm wider than fzr but i expect there wouldnt be any problem with shaving them down that little.
the tzr250 ones fit i think but theyre stupidly hard to get hold of.
i cant decide if your bike will look better faired or naked. naked shows off the sweet casing colours and goes with the bars and seat..
how about half faired? but like the ktm superduke. with a tight hugger around the bottom of the exhaust with some light pannels on the side and a nice agressive looking light all done in black and red to match the body?

He was last here on the 19th. Given that he's military, and considering the chaos currently in Australia, I find it a distinct possibility he's been mobilized to help out.

Or he could be on vacation in Japan, enjoying the skiing - who knows!

He has told me that he has been a bit busy over the past couple of months, I hope he doesn't up and leave as he is good to have around here.

Phew! Sorry for the absence boys and girls. Life drags us away from the things we love sometimes, but thankfully if we're patient we eventually get to come home ;) I knew for a while i was gonna have to leave at some stage but when the time finally came there was a lot less warning than i expected.

Deadbirds - The half fairing idea is a good one and ive bin toying with it for a while. It's probably my first choice at this stage, though i do just keep thinking of how damn good she looks with her clothes off

Well in regards to the bike, im gonna have to go and blow the dust off her and try and remember where i was at before i left I'll hopefully have some photos and an update for you all soon.

Welcome back! Sudden deployments, along the lines of "No move before 'Move Now' - Move Now, out!" are always rough.

Get out the bucket and hose, and as you clean each piece, you'll remember what you were planning to do with it!

yeah, surely he's finished it by now. Maybe he got rid of it. Does he still come on the forum?
I really wanted to see what he came up with.

I'm going to make a similar change to my bikes rear end, I'd love to have seen how this bike ended it was looking so nice! Front end looks a bit tricky for me. Anyone know how I would best search for those small exhausts that usually go on StreetFighters? That stubby little tin can style, what's that style called?
