I'm putting my FZR250 1987 2KR-117610 through compliance in order to register it for road use. I've been trying to find out the brake OEM minimum wear limit on pads and discs, and also where is the engine serial number?

Is it 1.5mm for pads and 1mm for discs?

3LN pads are 5.5mm thick each and wear limit is down to 0.5mm each (see page 6 of this http://attachments.fzr250.com/FZR250/FZR250specs.pdf )

I am sure the max disk wear is 0.5mm (say 4.5mm min thickness for a 5mm disk) as it has been discussed on the site before viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1871

The minimum thickness is often stamped / cast into the rotors or carriers. Cuts down on arguments and rummaging through old manuals!
