We've been working on a CBR250RR MC22, getting it roadworthy & delving into it's condition.
The carbies had a clean & I didn't mark which slide came from which carby & wondering if the factory setting is all the same or richer on the inner 2? I had a look at the needles & didn't go any further as they are in perfect condition. I couldn't see if they are adjustable either, all I noticed was that the spring post was threaded & nothing screws into it, I tried to unscrew it but didn't want to go too far & break it as it's only plastic.
She's all back together & sems to be running well but I can't stop wondering if they're in the wrong holes, not looking forward to changing them over if they're wrong.

Screw in top is to pop them out what u do is the 3 screws holding the black case on top take one and screw in half way and pull up does take a bit of force!!! Then the only way to adjust needle height is to put washers underneath them my race cbr has 2 washers under all of them hope that helps

Thank's Mclaren, I don't remember seeing any screws.
Anyway sounds like all 4 needles operate at the same heights.
I know on the ZXR750 the 2 middle needles are set higher than the 2 outer & strangely the GSXr750 runs the 2 middle lower than the 2 outer, something only the design engineers would know why.
Thanks for the reply, you've eased my concerns.
