Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can replace/modify my existing rear shock so to gain some extra grip/feel....etc.....

    Anyone?

I noticed on that forum that one of the suggestions was a Nitron with frame mods. Nitron make shocks to order so I don't know about the frame mods but $$
Here is some specs for std shocks

Only mods allowed to keep within the production rules are a spring change and a freshen up inside - I have left mine standard, maybe I'll get a spring for it one day, but I have the front and rear working together quite well at the moment so no immediate plans for change.

Thanks for that Simon, Pat says that there is a plate that can be added to raise the rear end a bit, have you done this?
