Last month I purchased a replacement daily rider, a FB Mondial SC 300.

Nice, that looks pretty sweet. And with 25hp in 135Kg it should go well too.

That's very nicely styled with fairing and a sort of cafe race look also

It's a nice bike to ride, I bought it with 420km on the clock so it's all stil a bit stiff, the engine is a 249.6cc Zongshen 4valve, and fairly oversquare (77x53.6mm) and isn't happy below 4000rpm, max torque is at 6500rpm and full "power" at 8500rpm, it's really happy at higher revs. With the low weight and the modern (new) cycle part it's a pleasure to ride, official top speed is 120kph but i've seen 135kph on the counter allready.

That's all you need most times. The older I get the less inclined I am to look at heavy bikes for transport unless I absolutely have to. The light-weight, nice handling bike that does 120-130kph will do just fine thanks. That bike was released in Australia in 2019, but I've never seen one or heard anyone talk about them. It will be interesting to hear how she ages.

    Good luck with it Jo.
