;D Many thanks to Chris for organising the cruise out to the museum, great day, right up until the Sprint had a tantrum, no sign of a fault since. Following on from such a good day out I am proposing a cruise down south over the border on Sunday 13th March, meeting at 08.00 and leaving from Yatala Services at 08.30, heading out through Canungra to Beaudesert, Rathdowny and Lions Road towards Kyogle, returning via Murrwulmabah and Murrwulembah Valley, before returning to Yatala. I will video the ride again, but additionally I will answer any specific questions on positioning or lines and video any participant by request. If you are videoed by request and would like a copy of the day I will make copies available for a nominal fee of $10.00. Estimated distance is 350 kms over 4-5 hours, please let us know if you are in. Current attendees. Mark Chris
I believe the next line was "****, we just flew throgh his jet wash" name the movie and the character speaking!
Just a reminder about Sunday's Border Loop Cruise deaprting Yatala Service Centre at 8.30. Hope to see as many of you there as possible if the weather holds up. Enjoy the rest of your week. Mark
I just did the Loins road yesterday, still a bit bumpy but still a good ride, are you all going on 250's? I have a vjmc run that day otherwise i would come along too. Pic at the border, me with the 450 bomber, mates Tom on a CX500, Greg on a XZ550 Yam, Steve on a TX500 Yam. This was on the return run from the VJMC rally in Barrack Heights near Wollongong. We covered over 2700K's on the old clappers, what fun it was too. I don't think anyone is cming on a 250, just a group of sad souls that I know getting together for a good ride. See you there if you can make it. Mark
Better late than never I suppose, we had a great ride, although the weather closed in and the rain came down over the border, heavy enough for some of us to stop and get the boil in a bag suits out. More rain just this side of the border on the way home, but with home in sight most of us just kept going, really enjoyed the Valley road in the rain as it is the first time in years I have had confidence to push on in the wet as I know the road surface enough to trust it, nice quick ride and not too wet. Will think about another ride, this time to the back of beyond up north, maybe after Easter. Ride safe. Mark
