    Hey guys,

Just wanted to know if anyone's had this problem before.

When cruising to a stop, if I don't blip the throttle, the bike will start to flood and then stall.
Once I give it a good rev, the bike sits fine when idling.
If I blip the throttle a tiny bit, the bike will start to stall again.
If I blip it nice and hard, the bike will be fine and will come back to idle state without stalling.

Idle has been set ~3000 and ~1500, and the same thing happens even when set to idle higher.

I'm hoping it's just the carbies being dirty and that after I get it cleaned/tuned, it'll be back to normal.

Oh, and I was also told the floats in the FZR aren't adjustable. Is this true?

Edit: One last question, when I was checking the oil this morning it was fine. Bike was off, centred, oil was at 3/4 in the window.
When I checked it when the bike was on, I didn't see any oil in the window.
Is this normal? I'm assuming the oil gets pulled through the oil filter etc etc, and that's the reason why you don't see any oil when the bike is on?

ok man i think ur carbies needs cleaning and balancing its 90% from them check at the morning how the bike turn on i mean by the morning like turning it on after being stood for more than 7 hours with choke or without choke ? anywya and abut the oil its normal sure when u check the oil level it should b after being stood for a long time inorder to ee the oil at the button of the engine when u turn on the engine the oil level will not appear at the buttom coz it cames up spreading all over the engine

I've been told not to bother using the choke when starting this FZR, dunno if that just applies to my bike in particular or most FZR's in general.

I found that I can only use choke if its like 5 deg. or colder...otherwise just wont start...will make bike stall if I put it on.

ok if its starting without choke in my opinion if iam not wrong its not normal case to start in after being stoop for long time without the use of the choke this means ur having excess fuel flood thats in my opinion i maybe wrong abut it but in my bike when i used to have flood problems its use to start without choke when i fixed nd rebalance the carbies by lesseing the fuel amount iam using the choke it may turn on without the choke but not from the first time anyway i think ur having floding problems
