I presume that as soon as you settle again the revs settle as well? Another factor that will effect rev / speed - going around a corner. Effectively you reduce the overall gear/tire ratio because when you are leaned into a corner the tire size is effectively smaller. So even if your speedo reads 60 before, and it is reading 60 while you are in the middle of a corner, you have actually lost some speed. This is why it is necessary to slightly increase the throttle to maintain corner speed and to have a good drive out of a corner. and yes - I did start got talking about power, and not rpm's - my bad. <!-- s:???: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":???:" title="Confused" /><!-- s:???: -->
