bike gone ape wire!

    okay so iv had my bike off the road for just over 6months now and i go and start her every so often to just make sure shes fine,
    last week went out and turned the key to find my right rear indicator has stopped working? okay? flicked the red switch onto RUN..with my indicators still going to find my rev counter goes in sync with my indicators!!?? flicking upto about 8tho and down and also wont even turn over? and also my nutural light and oil light wore very dim? so i charged the bat and went to switch her on and now it does nothing at all!? no lights or anything
    please help!!

    sounds like you might have some wires touching.

    so long as you haven't done anything like electrical rewiring of components id say find the applicable parts of the wiring looms that go to that part and go over them with a keen eye. that's just to rule out condition of the wires being the cause like eroded wire insulation, shorting out on chassis or because of water, incorrect wiring etc. then check earthing wires/points of any relevant components to ensure good conductive connections (battery too). multimeter will help greatly.

    Have a look for bad or corroded connections/pugs, etc - Also check battery is not flat, try jump starting with good car battery.
