    Hi all,
Been browsing these forums for a while and finally joined.
Did a search but couldn't figure out the problem with my bike.

My bike starts and runs fine. It is also fine on flat surfaces.
However when i start riding around hilly areas my bike floods itself when going uphill. I have a fuel pump installed but am not sure wheter it is genuine.

My question is has anybody encounterd this problem. And does the 3LN3 need a fuel pump to run or should i try a straight line to the tank to fix this problem?

the bike will run without the pump, but it will probably starve when consantly revving hard. your problem sounds like needles and seats inside the float bowl. these are the valves which allow fuel into the float bowl, so if they are malfunctioning, you are gonna get wet plugs.
Dave or Koma may have a better idea, but that is what i would be putting my money on.
