Finally got all the annoying little problems sorted out sufficiently to be able to find out if the bike was mechanically sound or not. When I bought it I could only get it to start and run at full accelerator which limited my ability to ride it. Did not stop me giving it a go but as you can imagine trying to access the mechanical condition of something that is trying to wheelstand or stall on you is a chalenge. Turned out the main problems were bent float arms which were causing it to flood all the time combined with cracked rubber induction manifolds which were letting in heaps of air to go with the leaking fuel. Still I am well pleased as it goes rather well not I have sorted out the problems. Next step is to pull it apart and make it look nice Tried to upload a vid of it running but the forum will not let me. .
