    Hello
I own a Kawasaki Balius and the engine is broken (no compresion on a cylinder).
Can someone help me with a Balius engine?
Can someone tell me if I can replace with a ZZR250 or a Ninja250 engine?
    Thanks a lot.

Balius engine is basically the same as a ZXR-250 or ZX-2R from memory

The balius is an inline 4 yes, if so maybe the zzr250?? but not the new EX250.

would it be worth a rebuild?

I think is expensive to rebuild
I have to buy rings and other parts

The rings are about 200€, if I am lucky and I do not have to change more excluding gaskets

Id be looking into what is actually 'broken' and the cost of fixing it before trying to find a replacement motor

It will only cost u the time to do that , initially.

As above ^ - check for metal in the sump + sump filter. If none, then the lack of compression may be valve related - a lot cheaper !

You don't know what you're getting with a 2nd-hand engine so it's often better to rebuild.
