140$ is allot to pay for a sync tool and I think the 5$ solution is a bit risky after reading a different thread where water got sucked into the engine lol. Any champions in NSW wanna help a brother out? there is a slab of beer in it for u.
Just make one. It's just a manometer. Maybe call this the bodgey mechanic in me but a little water in the engine - what would it do? Hot engine, bit of water - evaporation? If you have a LOT of water different story but a bit here and there isn't going to be a show stopper. Cars can still run with blown head gaskets and milky oil.
*sigh* lol ill probably just buy a nice 140$ ebay sync and charge anyone who wants a sync 40$ until its payed off hahahaha.
it actually turns out that I don't need a sync tool. Sometimes you just know when something is right ^_^.
