    Hey All
Aldi stores have a sale on starting this Thursday for motorcycle goods.
The prices are certainly good and the products I have purchased in the past have been excellent. Jump on line and have a look, you won;t be disappointed.

I bought jacket and gloves there last year (discounted price too) and they have been really great value for money.  They do the job well.

would not have though of aldi to buy some gear but I will be there on the 11th to see what they have.

Don't think a new helmet will be on the list somehow but the other stuff looks interesting.

    Hey Phil
You might just be surprised, I looked at the helmets last time they had a sale and was mosted impressed by the quality, the look and finish. However couldn't find my size, as long as they have aus/nz standard they probably are no different to what is available on the Australian shelves currently.
As for the gloves, can't speak to highly of them, 2 seasons and mine are still going strong. If I'm not mistaken the prices appear to have come down more, keep up the good work ALDI.

    Hey All
Well I survived the Aldi Sale this morning, but only just. I arrived at the store in Maroochydore 15 minutes prior to opening, only to find the car park nearly full and a cue of over 100 people waiting to get in. Just before the doors opened I looked at the cue and it was huge, probably 200+.
At a guess 95% were there for the bike goodies and everything was flying out the door.
I managed to get some pants and gloves but preciously little else as goods were disappearing at a very fast rate.
The helmets were gone in 30 minutes, again I couldn't find my size. The leather jackets were terrific, but alas far too small for me. When I left there were only 2 left.
I want to thank Aldi for these sales from the motorcycle community, seems we can't get enough.

P.S. No show on the Kevlar jeans.

    Ahh the ALDI sale!

Quite a queue in the store but I scored what I wanted which was a wet weather suit - it's fine! And takes up less room in my kit than the jacket I was using. I'll stick to the pants I use which are storm/fishing pants from BCF.

Also scored a pair of gloves which are pretty darn good considering they're only $30.

And the balaclavas are excellent - I bought two (you need them in Ballarat).

The pants aren't that bad either, but I have a couple pair already so couldn't justify the 70 bucks - but good value if you need some - the 'CE Approved' knee padding wasn't as solid or thick as in my RST duds.

    The helmets? err.. no thanks...

Victoria Point store must have been madness to.  By just after lunch time all that was left was 3 pair of the textile black pants and some helmets, oh and 1 bike ramp.

Some one could have told me earlier that you need to camp out overnight to get what you want I called into one store at around 11 and after fighting my way to the motorcycle goods there wasn't anything I was after so I tyred another store on the way home and they had a good amount of stuff left just not what I wanted!
