Sorry if this is already covered. Can't find it on here...

How to remove fuel tank from across

Manual says the rear wheel and swing arm have to be removed.

Anyone been successful without doing this?

    Thanks

If that's what the manual says...guess it's kinda "gospel"
I have removed several tanks from Across's but as we were stripping the bike I did not give it much attention.
Remember well the protective shields that cover the tank, wish I could give you an easier way...sorry!

Hi guys, just removed a tank. I tried to remove it with the swing arm and shock in definitely a no go.
Its the shock that is in the way so besides the wheel the shock and linkages have to be removed minimum.
By that stage the swingarm might as well be re-greased anyhow.

Sooo.........anyone around perth and want an across frame?
