Hey all, My fzr took a tumble the other day, I desperately need a replacement generator cover (right hand side... the bit stamped yamaha) Can anyone help me out of a bind? I'm also chasing a few other bits and peices so if anyone is wrecking one or has a few parts floating around give me a holler! Can anyone recommend anyone that does aftermarket fairings?
I was quoted $87 for brand new alternator cover from the local Yamaha dealer last year. Only catch was it had to come from Japan and was a couple of weeks delivery. Ended up getting a SH one from wreckers $40.. I do have a repaired 2KR nose fairing in very good condition.
Thanks mate... only problem is most wreckers are telling me they are rare as hen's teeth...might have to order one.... would be interested in seing that front fairing....... My front fairing..(around the headlight) is pretty ordinary, I am thinking of turning into a semi-naked... I have stripped off the lower front fairing and it doesn't look too bad, so if I can modiify the fairing on their to incorporate the air rams I think it would look **** hot.... BTW if anyone wants the fzr400 manual with 250 specs inserted, I work in the print industry and can print & bind copies for a reasonable price...
