I purchased a set of Nitro blue H6M 35/35w globes / bulbs for the 3LN but they are only slightly less awful than the OEM's

Has anyone upgraded to H4 or LED's.

Keen to see and be seen.

I bought the new series version
    http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/shindengen-series-regulator-rectifier.2927/

I also bought 90mm Hella lights but I am not in possession of them yet. I did a lot of searching and reading and this article was good. http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/motorcycle-headlight/upgrade/
You can buy bright lights but without a correctly designed reflector they are useless. With the Hella low beam you have to buy the correct side, as in vehicles drive on the left side of the road in Aus, so American parts are not legal nor useful.

These are the correct models for Aus.

You should also ensure that both beams are switched by relays and have ample cable diameter to support the current.
    cheers

So your RD had ample lights then? Looks like it had ample front suspension too.
Let me guess, you sold it?

I was trying to sell the RD for about 3 months on ebay. My old man had a heart attack late last year and I've been trying to fund a trip to UK to visit.
I dropped the price from the initial 6K to 4.5 start with a 5K buy now. All I got were rude messages and ridicule!
    Unfknbelievable!
In the end, I like the bike so much, the way it handles and out of the blue...How well it now goes that I have decided to keep it and pull it out for a smokey blat whenever I feel like it.
In the mean time, I have to sell a shitload of artworks to cover the loss of the sale ;)

The lights, by the way, work ok, but not the two mile pencil I wanted. One is high beam, the other dip.
Front end is off a 650GTR / twin discs. Rear end a RZ box swing arm with the original hoop welded back on + a KTM whitepower monoshock. Runs fat rubber. Stops on a dime. Turns in like nothing I've ever ridden. I love the seat, but the tail is a late model TZR and needs a full fairing, in my opinion, to pull off the size. I can live with it.
