Hey guys, few of you might know i picked up the 2nd 3ln not to long ago as a project bike.

I came to realise, mechanically the bike was perfect and decided to make it my daily commute.
Now im having a little trouble. It seems to be losing power.
Both bikes ive never been able to get them past 140 and just put it down to age (and riding the 2nd 3ln as a naked bike).
Symptoms- perfect up to 110 3rd gear
upping to 4th the engine note changes to a dull roar, not revvy like i was expecting it to be and stays vigilant on what ever speed i was going, letting up on the throttle reduces speed and takes ages to pull back up, even with downshifting.
Im extra vigilant with this engine, making sure oil is nice and level, filters clear (given the previous rider rattlecan sprayed the INSIDE of the tank, its no easy task) and i dont rev the crap out of it.
I recently had a fuel vent problem which a mod helped with, and had to reclean again because it fouled a second time.
    So any ideas?

Bear in mind the bike is naked, i havnt checked the carbs and is running cr8eks

Does the EXUP fully open up when you rev it out to about 10,000rpm?

Yeah i checked the EXUP, it has clear movement throughout the rev range, but it doesnt line up with the notch/hole thing the website explained about.

I threw half a can of carbycleaner in each carby and replaced my airfilter, seems to have fix the problem lol.

Turn the keyswitch and kill switch on, wait for it to go through the cleaning cycle. Adjust your EXUP cables so the fork lines up with the hole. Cycle the kill switch off and on, check the position again. Go for a ride, see how it goes.
