WHEN TRYING TO RESTART ENGINE AFTER FUEL STOP ETC, THE ENGINE ONLY FIRES UP ON ONE OR TWO CYLINDERS,AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES THE OTHER CYLINDERS FIRE UP, AFTER THAT IT RUNS WITH NO FAULTS AND REVS OUT ETC, WITH NO MISFIRES,ANYONE GOT AN IDEA OF THE FAULT? BEFORE I GET THE TOOLBOX OUT.THANKS NEIL.
i was having that problem then discovered head gasket **** itself try dumping the coolant, letting the cyls dry right out, then starting as it warms up the head warps and seals the leak in the gasket. give it a go Brad
i'd start wtih the plugs - easiest and cheapest to check. If they are fouled then the problems will persist unless changed.
Could be a couple of the carbs flooding - float needles passing. Just try turning off the fuel tap as soon as u stop next time, that should confirm it, if it starts normally again. Dont forget to turn the petrol back on. DAVE
