I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this information but just to say to anyone that's interested, Hagon-Shocks UK can build you a replacement 2KR Mono Shock. I had problems with getting an original shock to be firm enough on the damping and there was too much sag so I sent my original Yamaha 2KR Mono Shock to Hagon-Shocks as requested by them for a template and they are now currently building me up a Hagon replacement from scratch as they have never had a request for one before. They are building it to my specifications taking into acccont my weight, sag etc. I've been updated with their progress and I should have the complete new Hagon shock to fit my 1986 FZR 250 2KR by next week. The cost for the new Hagon unit is £375.00 GBP but that price pays for their time/research etc. They said if they could have pulled a mono shock off the shelf which would have done the job, it would have only been £300.00 GBP. It wouldn't surprise me if anyone else wanted a replacement Hagon mono shock for a 2KR you may only have to pay £300.00 GBP if they build a few and put them on the shelf or have a few people interested in wanting one...
