2002 R1 rear cowl!

    its alot easier than you all think i dont know wkat all the citicisms about im putting one on my bike and ill probably make a how to section on it, it only cost me about 150AUD to do the whole thing and can be done in a weekend so cheers!!
    if anyone has done it throw a pic up eh!

    Mate if you could do a how-to with pics that would be awesome! Its good news that it too hard, Im looking foward to seeing how you did it!

    yeah the only problem i came accross last night was that you have to gut the rear sub frame to fit the radiator resovwar but its only a minor set back i suppose
    i might stop being so lazy and make a photo tutorial <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    Here's my little hint in the right direction...
    Remove the stock radiator reservoir and replace it with an aftermarket bottle with an outlet down the bottom and a fillup hose entering near the top. Then simply do a tiny bit of re-routing for the pipes. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

    can't you just use a remote reservoir from an R1?

    you could do that im trying to do it on a bidget so after maket will probably be cheaper becayse of my lication!

    I think i have a good solution to fix this overflow problem. If you want a picturre lemme know. The question is do you prefer ICE BREAK or DARE?

    didnt really underst and what youu were talking about until i saw the pic thats a nice way to use an empty coffe bottle

    yeah i know im being slack bit ive got some work to do on my uncles
    car and it paying so at the moment thats priority but i do get a free
    paint job out of it!
    im also keeping a whole standard bike for resale purposes so thats a
    financial set back aswel!
    im hoping to have some pics of the whole process start to finnish at the
    end of next month at the longest so yeah.

    i like it too.
    im doing a onversion of a tyga kit for mine at the moment. =]
    just gotta get the exhauste sorted first. cant find any downpipes anywhere!

    i decided against tyge. too expensive to **** up..
    r6 fits though. look at the one the guy has done in the photo section. page 14 i think. the post after my bike. lmao.
