So after a couple weeks of on and off work on my balius, I finally got it to run and drive. However, in between 6 - 8k rpm it starts to bog but then clears up after passing 8k rpm.

Would this happen because of a bad tune? Spark plugs and air filter have been replaced

on my first ZXR250, I found I had bogging from 6000-8000 RPM then it would clear its head and take off like scaled cat, I eventually worked out it some carb seals that had gone bad, I replaced those and she was tops. Litetek do kits so you are in luck

Plugs are cheap, wouldn't be bad idea to replace those as a matter of course

Would you say its still safe to ride though? I go back to uni in 2 weeks and wont have time to do the carbs any time soon

Riding position on the mc22 became uncomfortable after i hurt my back last year. Kinda regret it now since I'm mostly healed now ....
