    i recently bought a 1990 mc22 cbr250rr
the issue i am having is that when i ride it cold it runs perfectly. however when it gets up to temperature it starts to bog down and lose power the exhaust note becomes a lot lower and the bike will stall if i pull the clutch in. this will happen in any gear at temperature. i have taken the carby of and gave a clean and freshen up. seals and boots were all perfect. couple of the jets were blocked but they were all cleaned. the vacuums were all in good condition. i also changed out the plug while i had it apart. plugs were a bit dirty but nothing to stress about. i flushed the tank and checked the flow of fuel out of the petcock. it all appeared to be flowing well and filled with fresh fuel 98 octane. i changed out the side stand switch as the old one was damaged. could there be anything mechanical i have not looked at or could it be electrical?
any advice would be welcome as i want to get this bike back on the road as it great bike for me to learn on

Maybe do some electrical tests first, the MC22 is known for having regulator rectifier issues, first up get a multimeter over the battery and see what the charge is like when cold and again when hot , then follow the video below to test your reg, its located under your r\h rear panel. If your carbs are cleaned and there are no blockages, then you have to assume its electrical.

How are the valve clearances. They could be closing up when engine gets hot causing the valves to 'ride' or not close completely.
Might be something electrical getting hot too.

Don't know of an 'easy' way to check the clearances, just have to take the cam cover off and get a feeler gauge under the cams to check that the valves have clearance and are not binding.

the ignition system can get hot, weaken , then have spark blow outs. old coils can do this.
