I have for sale what I belive is a 1986 Honda CR250, I bought this bike as something to follow my 8 year old son around the paddock on but I now realise this is a serious bit of kit and not for me. My first ride was a quick blip up the street, I shifted from 1st to 2nd and gave it a wristful and found myself looking at the sky.... suffice to say I think I will stick to road bikes This is by means a perfect bike, it needs some fine tuning, the rear chain wear limiter is missing, there have been a few repairs to the plastics including a patch to the tank. Have a look at the pics as they show the general condition of the bike. I have been told that these bikes are now quite desireable for Vintage MX. Asking $1000 ono or will swap for a 250cc road bike. pretty sure that model used to be called the red rocket! My mate used to own 1! he spent some time injured!!!!!!they were insanely quick for their time and suspension! good luck!\
chris put some sticky road tyres on it and go ride round guys on new sports bikes and wheelie past them as you exit the roundabouts great fun can ge had on those things if not good luck with the sale :Thumbs_up:
