Trick!!

That is neat. Looks like all that's missing from that photo shoot is a chick in a yellow bikini
The nice, subtle customisations really set it off.

Final price was $2090 ride away, I secured the bike last week, Just had to go down today and fill out the paper work and so on, I really can't wait until i take delivery as it's such a sweet bike, Just waiting for my tax refund to go in.

Sold sign on the headlight makes me a happy camper.

I like the "deep space" look. I reckon that it would look even better in person than how the camera captures the fleck.????

Ashman, thats a pretty clean ride you got mate.

Bikes currently in the workshop atm, considering getting a full engine rebuild as i feel as though i should have more compression and response.

ashman01: That is (apart from the front rotor) identical to the one that was just sold at Moorooka Yamaha, Did you buy it from there?

Metoo - very purty, but you need to do something about that passenger seat. Here you have all this gorgeous paint; it's obviously been modified to remove the rear pegs - and then there's this nasty, lumpy, ripped (? looks like it) seat pad. Yuk!

What I have in mind is to fab up some sort of cowl to replace the rear seat, give it more of a race tail look. The same for the right rear peg / muffler hanger - replace it with a shaped piece of aluminum, formed and drilled.

Two minor flaws in an otherwise loverly appearance!

yeah qld transport went a bit overboard when the last owner got it regoed as a single seater...... (ripped out the padding stapled it and took the back pegs off) would look alot better with the plastic cover on it or something but yeah i know it makes me sad each time i look at her

Thankyou. Yes it was the one from there. Had a little f*ck around from team moto. I bought it from one of the gold coast stores. I went in on friday and accualy ordered a zzr250 kawi for pickup the next day. long story short they screwed around the bike and ended up ordering that one for me. I paid about $1000 to much for it. but that included 1yr rego (2 seat) 1 year insurance 3rd party and a brake replacement.

Here is a pic of my bike. Slowly coming together. Was a mess when I bought it, had cracked instrument panel bracket, broken fairings etc. Then the handlebars locked up on me hard left, and I come off the bike smashing off the left mirror, left front indicator and left foot peg and clutch lever. Got all the bits back on the bike including a new instrument bracket, new clutch lever and other bits. Only thing I am missing is a left front foot peg which I can not find anywhere, so I am riding with half a foot peg on the left.

yeah looks pretty good ray. theres heaps of front foot pegs for sale on ebay that can fit the fzr 600 (around 20-25 bucks) which could probably fit the 250 (does anyone know for sure?) or just wait a bit and keep looking for 250 specifics. plus they look beter than the stock ones in the photos
