    The postman has been arriving at my place lately with lots of goodies for my Cibby track bike, so today the new levers from Excite went on and I stripped the carbies, replaced all the seals with Litetek seals, fitted new main jets and new needle and seats... I also test fit the rear fairing. :thumb_ups:

    I will start a build thread shortly.

    Yea pretty cheap too ..... be interesting to see what they have internally re jets and the state of the tubes etc .

    Well after a hiatus of 5 weeks due to the Festive season break, decided to crank the Bandit over.
    Turned the key, lights came on and cranked over nicely. So far so good, however it would not start???
    Sounded like it wanted to and then the penny dropped, helps if you turn the fuel on of course. Roared into life without any further hesitation, love my Suzuki.:thumb_ups:

    Went hunting an oil leak........ found it. Bloody butchers damaged the filter cover plate.

    Washed 5 years of dust and cobwebs off the Triumph and put it in the new bike shed ready to work on!

    Installed the front discs, front mudguard and forks on the NSR. Installed new seals in the front calipers and fitted them. Made up braided brake lines . Rebuilt the carbies and installed 170 mains up from 140. Fitted the performance airbox lid. Replaced the stock PGM ignition with an HRC PGM ignition and Ethos wire splice. Cleaned and flushed the radiator. Now waiting for more parts and work is about to get in the way.

    Pulled front end appart to check where the speedo issues are and to bash some metal parts straight. Good thing is I found the problem with speedo. It is the gear at the back of the dash ceasing.
    couldnt bash the front perfect but atleast its better than before.
