No it doesnt which is strange. Hi @Frankster I played around with the A model I have here, the choke cable runs outside the frame which might be whats making it difficult for you. I dont have a switchblock on the bike with cables, but there is plenty of room & the carb movement isnt impeded. I moved the loom out of the way for the photo, but that just sits against the frame & sits on that little bit on the carbs to keep it above the cable mount.
Just an update, @sharky and I are working on this at the moment. When prototype hoses are done they will be sent to him for evaluation. Sorry but this is not a process that can be rushed because we run a business and mistakes are expensive. The plan is to go for the 3 hose option. Too many owners are already facing the issue of rusted out bleed points so it would be best.
Maelstrom sorry to bother you but how is the progress coming on the hoses? Can't wait to see this as id love to get my mits on em
Sorry, but that is like asking 'ey Michaelangelo when ya gonna finish uh?', lots of problems to be solved. The block-in hose, for example, will require that you bond a fitting (that we will supply) to your front outlet as the original has no bead which is really dumb (don't want dead customers). It is not like you just send off some OEM hoses and say 'copy these please'. Well you could but they would be useless rubbish, but I think I have all the bumps ironed out and it is a work in progress.
Oh sorry I didn't mean to irritate you I was just curious , hope things go smoothly for you Sent from my SM-J530F using Tapatalk
Just a bump. Yamaha hoses are finished and I am back onto the Kawasaki jobbies. Should not take too long.
@maelstrom can't wait for the hoses , when I get my motor going I'll be ordering them for sure Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk
I will order a set too once they are finished. My original rubber ones are in decent nick but are 30 years old... Can't be good long term
