Yes, I know. The silicone hoses are quite stiff though and I don't think there is any need to have it attached if using an embedded air bleed. I plan to produce some of the engine hose fittings for the Honda MC22 hose kits, which are basically finished now. This is because I want to offer comprehensive coolant kits, (o-rings, fittings etc), but the ZXR bleed point is too much of a headache to produce in small quantities.

I like the idea of a single hose, but there would be a few things to watch closely, there isnt much clearance between the fairing & alternator cover, & also some people have the Ram Air tube, which is why the bleeder isnt at the highest point on the hose. 20180524_133438.jpg 20180524_134001.jpg 20180524_113425.jpg

Like this @sharky do you think it would clear all the parts?

All the hoses are fitted to the fairing to some degree except that little hose from the bleeder to the pump,so you cant really change the little hose from the head to the bleeder as shown above, would be more like this. image_02.png what I was more concerned about was the angle of the combined hoses, they have to fit between the fairing & alt cover, but also under the ram air tube. This is how the hoses sit in the fairing. 20180524_151422.jpg 20180524_151449.jpg

Buy yourself some coloured heat shrink to put over the hoses.

Thanks @sharky. Maybe it is best to try to buy a ZXR here if I want to make the one piece hose. Tooling mistakes are expensive.

    Hi All,
    I need some more help.
Mr @GreyImport is sending me a couple of used hoses and I got 2 new ones from Megazip. That is fine for getting the shape but silicone hoses cannot be made the same as EPDM because they are too stiff, so what I need is the diameter of all the fittings. For example, the radiator inlet and out tube etc. It has to be the tube diameter not the larger bead diameter. Only people with vernier calipers need apply :)
    Thanks
    Blair

No bead, just the tube diameter. I can get the bead size too if you need them.

I see, so they are tapered or out of round. I don't need the bead diameter.

Okay so that is everything except the bleed point joining tube.
Here is the updated image and I basically split the sizes.

Hi @sharky and @Frankster could one of you guys check the diameters on the bleed point junction when you have time. Also please confirm that pump IN diameter at 22.3mm, that seems very large.

I measured just under the bead, the tube then tapers down ever so slightly after that. I had 2 bleeders of differing quality to measure from, both ends are similar size & measured 19.7mm - 20.5mm across all 4 ends measured. 20180604_222820.jpg Water pump is correct size, measured the 2 I have not on bikes. 20180604_221434.jpg 20180604_221458.jpg

Looking forward to seeing these become available! Particular interest in the integrated bleeder!

@sharky can you take a pic of the hose when the carbs/throttle are in place and post it please? I'm trying to route the hose on the inside of the frame as you have it, but it keeps interfering with the throttle. And, that's before the clutch cable and loom wiring are in there too. Thanks
