Hey guys. Would anyone be able to tell me if they ever tried to put a MC22/RVF400 pair of mirrors on their Suzuki Across? Someone told me it fits. Does it? Is it the correct size for the Across, or you can only see your own shoulders?
I think in the wrench day doing an engine swap on @U_B_WARE across we noticed it had cbr250rr mirrors fitted. I've tagged him so hopefully he adds some insight/input
you can see a bit, but there is a lot of shoulder in the mirror. I am looking at getting some other mirrors sooner or later, want to be able to see more.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I knew it was not going to be 100%. But you see lots of shoulder on the MC22 as well, so I guess the mirrors are not long enough anyway.
I never use mirrors always turn my head guess goes back to starting on trail bikes so mirrors never existed lol
after riding to work today, the best thing I can say is. when you look in the mirror you can see about half behind/beside you and half ya arm
I have only had one Jap bike that had decent mirrors, that was my Honda Blackbird. Every other bike has been the same, half visibility and sometimes less. My Suzuki SV650 was probably the worst, I purchased some extenders and solved the problem. I have not been to Japan, my guess is that they are a skinny race of people????
Korean sewing machine has great mirrors when youre riding ..... but u are forever bumping them when walking past it or when the bike falls over they ..... ahh .....we wont go there
