I enjoyed reading this from a wreck to a saved bike and all the issues overcome along the way. Well done

 

Many thanks for the feed back, it was a challenge but with a little help from my friends we made it.

 

thanks for the encouragement , my across is still in the cnr of the shed (untouched) since getting it home and fitting another coil to it (to many projects is my feeble excuse) after seeing what you have done might pull my finger out , if not a rude question how much did you spend after buying / parts /rego , its only curiosity so no worries if dont want to say ..anyway good job

 

Thanks Flea, total expenditure including the $110 purchase price was around the $1,300 mark but that was only achieved with the help of Chris and others. Time spent on and off about 6 months but a great project and a great learning curve. Peter

 

well done ,it makes for a cheap on the rd registed bike , often find projects can cost more than they are worth .. eg my xs250 by the time iv finished (and its only minor things) i will be lucky to get my money back if i sold it (no plans to) same with my across and thats not taking the time into a/c ,, but i suppose thats not why we do it
