I swapped out the dodgy carb boot with a spare, but she still ran like a bucket of bolts.... I hate doing things twice, but I hate having a badly behaving bike so the carbs came off again, pulled the jets, emulsion tubes out, I then cleaned it all using threebond.

Finally I used the compressor to blow out every orifice with everything removed, when I was blowing carb 2 out, a big congealed piece of sealant blew out a hose and hit me in the chest, I was like WTF

Super quick reassembly and then time for a start, she fired straight up, held a beautiful idle.

I just went for a 15 min ride and cant stop smiling, she is back !!!!

I stopped in the local bakery for a pie on the way home and 2 young blokes came up and asked me if it was a CBR250 and then asked a few questions about the bike, as they were walking away he says to his to mate, Im getting one of them and its gonna kick arse because its a 2 stoke.

    I just smiled
