This is now a megelli thread, I'm happy to hear absolutely anything to do with this bike, info and custom bikes are really limited and recently purchased 2012 model bike I'm going to be changing the bike a lot and wanting to eventually be able to completely strip it down and rebuild it.
as i make changes i will update this thread and hopefully help someone else aswelle

the only real problems i have faced since buying this bike that I've been unable to fix is a leaking sump plug, and a lot of the fairings around the body have snapped off parts where the bolts go through, making it difficult to put back together. megelli fairings and parts are really hard to find so wondering if anyones got a better way i can fix this besides maybe fibre glassing a new bolt hole.

For the leaking sump plug buy a crush washer to suit. You'll have to change the washer every time you remove the plug but hopefully that will seal OK.

To repair the fairing, in a well ventilated area (as this crap causes cancer, seriously), melt cable ties with a soldering iron onto the affected area. For added strength melt in bits of coathanger offcut (or some other moderately strong wire that won't melt at soldering temperatures).

put teflon tape on thread. white is the thinnest, next is pink[my choice]and the last is yellow for gas fittings and is the thickest.as for fairings- best of luck.

where are these postings going? to repair fairings_if you have the lugs use plaspex from the states. cheaper than oz.for the sump plug use pink teflon tape on thread.

It depends where it's broken but if it's just tabs you could gumtree around and find some old fairing with a similar size and "plastic weld" it back on. Dodgey as hell but if it's on the inside of the fairing, who cares right?

no idea, google crossfire motorcycles as they have a zongshen engine and ring one of their dealers. as far as i know megelli only had a chinese manual and i could not extract it from the importer who went belly up.
