Positioned in the middle are 3LN1 carbies. The idle screw on a cable is 3LN3 or newer. If your float bowls have 4 screws each and have raised rounded parts, they belong to a 3LN6 or 3LN7. I also have the 'idle' issue where it just sits and the no amount of throttle changes the revs. I have a bogging issue as well...Especially after pulling away and on hills. Goes like the clappers at full revs on the freeway. Carb related I'm guessing.
Absolutely it is. Turning off the fuel tap is a workaround as fuel will start draining out of the bowls. Works well in traffic. Post pics of your carbs if you have them and we can identify them for you.
Its a 3LN1 [via frame #3LN - 231028] Mikuni carbs but no identifying numbers [they're still sat on the bike attached via cables]
Welcome, great looking bike! The bogging problem etc is likely to be the Jet Needles and tubes which wear out on these carbs.
what a cracking looking looking FZR, she is a beaut! If your finding sag in the rear i'd suggest an R6 shock swap. transforms the rear of the bike. happy posting mate! looking forward in seen more of your bike!

a little bit of blood and a few choice words and it fits, nothing at all that stressful. massive difference as the R6 shocks are also serviceable.
Yeah I saw they need a couple of extensions on the ankle joint...Did anyone come up with a template for them?
