OH, I do like that engine noise and looks like it's either been brilliantly restored of lovingly cared for
Dropped off my R6 at RB Racing to get tuned... as punishment the bandit refused to start, it must have been jealous of the attention. Removed and cleaned the plugs, jump starter, no go, badly flooded. In the end the old push start got it going, took it for a ride to clear it out, fuel smelled bad... fresh tank of 91 tomorrow.
Hi to everyone...i'm still busy with the new house...tomorrow I'll send the damage parts to a fairing repair specialist...and after viewing them he tell me about the cost...the upper cowl is deformed where it is broke, and the part was repaired several times... yes, now i have my beatiful chinese fairings, but i'm feeling bad every day when i see the broken cowl... The good news are that i finally found a pair of original rotors (from UK) in good conditions...and also a pair of air intake tubes...
So it's not your china fairing's that got damaged ? If it was some seller's on ebay will sell a single part of the china kit's eg; 1989 1990 ZXR250 front upper fairing You would need to send them picture's of your's so they can match the paint and stripe's etc https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Front-U...m41fe5e3f65:g:ZBgAAOSwHxxcpY0Y&frcectupt=true
After having the accident, i bought the complete china fairing kit for my bike, and i'm satisfied for the price i spent...but the problem with chinese fairing is when you try to combined them with the original ones...
I did a little laundry Then some welding And other bike bike repairs. Today we go riding! Well, I have 3 tyres to repair on the way, then riding! I'm one of 4 brothers (no sisters), and 3 of us are going riding today for a birthday. That's if it isn't pouring rain...
Had some more laundry to do... Hard to see in that picture, but we found the muddiest place to ride: tacky, greasy mud and water puddles. A lot of sideways action, could hardly ride, even got the Lancer bogged. But we had a bit of fun. Washed the bikes once home, hit them with the pressure washer: never seen them so clean! The white bike is white and green bike is green!!
Very nice @kiffsta. Im currently doing up my dads old XS650 might make a thread in the non 250's section some day.
How is this for power to weight ? https://motorbikewriter.com/ducati-v4-superleggera-has-super-power/ 152kg which is zxr250, fzr250 , Cbr250 weight but where the 250’s have 45hp, this bad boy has 234hp staggering power to weight and only costs 145k
Not a lot... started the Spada up after it has been sitting for 3 weeks... first kick and it runs like a charm.. took it for a quick tootle up our street and back.. just to make sure the new brakes are working nicely.. Then sorted out taking pics of the CB250 and the engines etc to put them up for sale..
But those extra 24 hp cost $110k, and are only useful after 300kph with it that light. Just bragging rights. Very expensive bragging rights.
