Mine seems to be gearbox/clutch: the rattle goes away if you have it on gear and start letting the clutch out. Yet to try starting it cold after messing with the carbies
I assure you, I won't be going to half the effort you went to, let alone splitting the cases. Something I noticed last night was I suspect that I have an air leaks in cyl 3. It's a little high at idle. Low at slight revs. Maybe?
OK, first thing would be manifolds, vacuum lines, and carb t-piece o-rings if you haven't done those already.
Carbs jets for the A model are n52x for cylinder 2 and 3 and a 76A for the outer too . My needles are all N76 and a funky looking B . My question is what difference is this compared to what should be in it and I can only seem to find n52 needles are they the same as n52x ? Thanks for all of the help guys Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk
I too have an engine that does this. Annoying more than anything, but I will have to find the cause eventually.
Carb Needles A1-A2: All 4 jet needles are: N76B (125:128:128:125) 55mm long B1-B2: Outside cylinders: N76A Inside cylinders: N52X C1, C2 & C3: All 4 jet needles are: N76U or N76V D1: All 4 jet needles are: N76V C4, C5 & C7: All 4 jet needles are: N1QW
It took until 5pm to start working on anything (after studies, visits from nephews, fixing other people's bike). So I thought I'd prep the RS125 for RWC and a track day. Well, I seem to have gone backwards, I've just kept pulling things off. Gave it a wash.
Sold my little fold up trailer a few weeks ago (still not picked up yet but is paid for) and managed to pick up a 6x4 box trailer with cage and rego till Feb $150 less than I sold the Fold up for There is a little bit of rust in the floor at the back but that is an easy fix.. the rest of the day has been taken up with Puppy proofing the back yard.. we bought a Puppy for my son who has had another setback with his fight to beat Cancer... All I can say is F#$K Cancer..... I need to find a window stick that says that
Yes cancer is a real pita, I lost my girlfriend to it a couple of years back, but also have some friends who recovered from it, so all the best wishes and keep your head up
I put the FZR back together today after sitting in piece's for 3 and a bit month's, it hasn't been ridden since the end of March too. So now i can re-register it after tea, and get back out riding again Daylight saving's started this morning as well.
Saturday I did a track day on the RS125 at Morgan Park. It was awesome: the track is great, the bike made you learn to ride more effectively. I was riding within an inch of both our lives... Mostly a matter of incompetency. Lots of fun but I think I'm too big for the bike.
