hi guys ,anyone got the throttle body or the thing that bolts to the side of it ,it is bolted on with 2 nuts and has a odd shaped rubber seal on it,i damaged the long plastic rod when reassembling, cheers jim
How do I doo that. It’s the block held on with 2 nuts on the opposite side of the cables and has a electrical plug that goes in from the top , when you take off it has a odd shaped seal that apparently lets bit of muck in over time , I damaged a plastic prong thing on it on dismantling
Take a photo and upload it here via the upload a file tab down below,it's the middle option under the text box Once uploaded click on full size, then click on post reply
Must be the fuel cut solenoid ... this is from the YBR250 parts catalogue but looks different than yours ... ?
Yeh I thought that , thought it would be easier to change the throttle body because the price for new is ridiculous, struggling to find a used 1 ,
the thing get s better, just been into Yamaha to get a price for new,it doesn't even come up on yamaha system it doesn't show the part I need nor the rubbers that need replacing ,bloke at yam is baffled
throttle position sensor? Yep that was a correct guess https://www.google.com.au/search?so...kmAWU5oTYDA&q=YBR250+throttle+position+sensor
Check this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Throttle-P...YZF125R-ZUMA-Suzuki-BANDIT-1250-/222584572397 Same, similar or identical? Says it's for the ybr125 & yzf-r125, so you may find the same units on YZF-R15, YZF-R25 and YZFR3 - makes it easier Looks to be the same https://www.ebay.com/itm/yamaha-yzf...el-injection/231045695144?hash=item35cb6586a8
Plenty of them on ebay in the UK - nice and local for you, I'd be very surprised if it's on say a YZF-r125or the ybr125 and looks identical if there would be any difference between them - different years and the change to the R15 seems to change them - new ones are ~$75USD so maybe worth a new one if second hand isn't worth the risk Other mentions I see about them is setting them up if bikes are running rich or won't idle, so you may need to run through some sort of a calibration with a new one once fitted
BTW I couldn't locate a Yamaha part number for one, a search on that would have identified all of the models it's used on
