Help Yamaha YBR250 Electrical

    hi I lowered headlight on my ybr250 so I could feed new front brake assembly through,it only dropped down a couple of inches but put all back together and my speeddo and rev don't work,also my front brake light switch ??? ive disassembled and waggled this and that nothing ,I also checked fuses ,please help , any ideas ?? thanks jim

    Are the speedo and tach cable driven or electrically.

    hi its electrically driven as clock spin right round and back again on ignition, the only thing I unattached was the front brake light switch as I noticed the brake light wasn't working,replaced switch but still the same ???????

    Then maybe a wire/connector has come apart with the move.

    that's what im thinking,itrs funny how clocks and brake light have gone out,i think ive gotta look for a connector in headlight area where switch runs to, fingers crossed and thank you for reply appreciated

    hi murdo thanks for help bud,i took battery off to charge and when I reconnected valllllah all working love it,sorry been so long ive been real busy, hope you are well thanks again
