Info What does this pipe do? (image)

    Parts labelled 25, 26, 27 what us it for? And overflow hose/pipe for the airbox?? Why is there a in-filter in the middle of the pipes does it lead somewhere ? [​IMG]

    Those pipes, there are two, which reside between the carb pairs are the breather for the slides

    The foam filter is itself, which is inside the small black module, which either twist's or clips apart will likely have disintegrated.

    If you look on the back of the airbox, there are clips where the hoses go up and then curve back around in an upside down J shape

    Yeah I have those two but the diagram appears to be pointing towards this pipe connector on the bottom of the airbox (picture with the white circle)[​IMG][​IMG]

    Also if its just a drain that leads nowhere to dispense fluid why does it need an in-line filter??

    Its just a drain for the airbox ..... I would assume the filter inline is to stop dust etc being sucked into the box and the hose just hangs out the bottom of the bike like the tank vent
