Am looking for a set of carby float bowl gaskets for an MC22. Preferably local in SEQ. I know there are plenty available to order online, but I'm after something on shorter notice if possible. Perhaps from a seal kit someone has not yet fitted up yet? Thanks guys. Appreciate any assistance.
Just found some on Xcite Bikes website, so will likely order these if no other success, but local still preferred.
They're O rings aren't they ? I needed them for my MC18 carbs on the twin. A local O ring and seal specialist matched my sample off the shelf. But I'd asked for 2mm OD - which leaked. Went back and got 2.5mm OD which are sealing well. And yes, I'm cheap....
I have used O rings from the bearing shop with success. Might need some super glue to hold them in place to fit.
Ended up sourcing some suitable O-rings from a place at Acacia Ridge called Seal Innovations. Incidentally, they will manufacture custom seals / gaskets, which might be of use to other members with bikes that have hard to source or obsolete parts. https://www.sealinnovations.com.au/
