    Appreciate the invitation risky!

I'll have to look into booking leave around that time to allow for Friday and Monday travel, as well as recovery time at the end of it all...

It is just a bit under 800km through the inland way.
Would be pleased if you can make it Fred.

A bit more info for you all.
The Saturday ride will be going to Werris Creek, across through 'the gap' to the back road into Quirindi, then to Wallabadah and back up the highway to turn off onto the Mt Lindsay road to Nundle for lunch. After refreshments we will follow the road along the Peel Valley back to Tamworth. Approx 200Km total.
The evening meal and raffle draw look like being held at the Tamworth bowling club (up the street from the Central Hotel) with club priced drinks.
    Will know more next week.
